I wrote about this band some time ago, and at the time, really felt they were going to push on and be one of the bands of 2009.
While the comparisons with the Kings Of Leon may have slightly wilted, there is still something mystical about this new track, with hints to both mid-60's influences, and more contemporary acts like early Verve, Kasabian, and I know I made this comparison last time right, but I always hear a bit of The Beta Band whenever I listen to them.
Anyway having gotten it a bit wrong 12 months ago, I'm going to stand by my earlier prediction and say that I reckon this year, Detroit Social Club will go on and do something very exciting.
....Like Colossus at Thorpe Park, the worlds first 10 looping rollercoaster.
