Can the West London rapper turned self-styled Dysfunctional Electro Popstar make the leap into proper chart stardom?.....read more.
I've featured Example on this blog loads over the last year so you'll probably be familiar with him, but to recap....After jettisoning the straight rap persona with last years Credit Munch mixtape, taking on the role of some kind of rave jester, EG bookended the summer with 2 anthems, the Don Diablo assisted dancefloor slaying Hooligans, and the Balearic ode to holiday romance in Watch The Sun Come Up, which went on to be his most successful release, spending 4 weeks in the Top 20.
So where next? Won't Go Quietly, for some reason reminds me of when Bryan Adams went electro-dance. See normally I'd say that's a bad thing, and well it is, but I still buzz of this track. Probably not as much as Watch The Sun.... but I think that was a better 'song' where as this is going to sound very big on a dancefloor, I know already it sounds big at a show.
So check out this epic 8 minute remix by Juan MacLean. It's rather good. And if you don't believe me on the live front, he's playing a shitload of gigs this year, and next, supporting Lily Allen, Tynchy Stryder, and then a headlining tour in early 2010.

Prefered Watch The Sun Come Up, more of an anthem.
I agree with the above statement but it's still big.
