Calvin Harris - I'm Not Alone (Professor Green Remix)

It would appear as we bring this decade to a close, that Calvin Harris is one of the biggest stars in the UK. Quite how this happened is anyones guess....read more.

I mean he's not much to look at, a bit lanky and Scottish, but he has an uncanny knack for a tune, not afraid to make an arse of himself (see the X Factor from a few weeks ago) and because every other popstar in this country is fuckin' dry, he's made the most of it.

Having listened to his album, it's not a bad effort, the singles being the real highlights, which brings me nicely in to this track, remixed by Professor Green. To be honest, the track is good, but Green's bars make it so much better. He really captures the frenzy and mania of being off your tits in a club.

As for PG, he's just signed his....3rd (?) record deal, hopefully this one will work out for him, and we'll see an album in the new year.

    Agreed. It's better with Pro in this song.
    I can't listen to this and feel a little mashed up after - new Blinded By The Lights perhaps. Ha.

    I'll assume you meant xenophobic, rather than racist, since xenophobia is hating someone because of where they are from, as opposed to racist which is hating someone because of their race.

    With that in mind I'll then have to conclude that you are xenophobic as the line you're quoting is merely an adjective, see Calvin Harris IS Scottish, and therefore for you to suggest this is some kind of slight, well then that makes you a Xenophobe. See how it works.

    My suspicions of your xenophobia are confirmed by your last statement, as you assume I am English, quite what that has to do with anything, I'm not entirely sure, but since you made the point of it, I should say that I'm Irish.

    So there you go, that's probably the most to the point statement I've made on this blog, and I've wasted on a fuckin' anonymous idiot.
